What happens when fashion gets a little too hungry? OFF MENU is a conceptual fashion campaign that turns the familiar American diner into a playground for unconventional styling, strange appetites, and surreal imagery. Across six editorial images and a 14-second motion piece, the campaign brings together food, fashion, and absurdist humor in a world where nothing is quite what you ordered.

Red vinyl booths. Chrome countertops. Questionable menu choices.

We took the visual language of the American diner and pushed it somewhere unexpected, treating food like fashion, fashion like performance, and everyday objects like the stars of their own bizarre campaign.

A little too much of everything

The campaign unfolds across six surreal editorial images, each exploring a different moment within the OFF MENU universe.

Exaggerated styling, impossible food moments, theatrical compositions, and a deliberately strange sense of humor bring the concept to life.

“People write to us about the weather report. It was the one clip we never planned to show.”

Inês Moura, head of archive at Canal Zero

Motion with an appetite

A 14-second motion piece adds another layer to the campaign, bringing its characters, styling, and visual personality into movement.

Created through AI native image and motion production, OFF MENU explores how one unusual creative idea can translate across still imagery and moving pictures.

Nothing ordinary on the menu

Fashion served strange. Reality sold separately.

An old television screen filled with static and pink lines
The man's silhouette from behind against rows of glowing screens
A finger turns the dial on an old television set
Cables coiled across a concrete floor in front of the glowing screens
Only some of the screens still lit, the man small in the dark below them
