The Tool Shouldn’t Be the Story.

We Get AI Can Make Things

Images.

Motion.

Music.

Products.

People.

Places that never existed.

This is no longer the shocking part.

The technology will continue improving and the demonstrations will continue getting more impressive.

Eventually “made with AI” will carry about as much creative information as “made with Photoshop.”

Useful to know.

Not much of a concept.

Production Is Not A Point Of View

Sorbet uses AI throughout the production process because it expands what an idea can become.

It allows us to test environments, casting, styling, products, motion, and visual directions that may have been inaccessible before.

That is valuable.

But an expanded production toolbox does not automatically create an interesting campaign.

Someone still needs to decide what the work is about.

Technology gives the project capability.

Direction gives it character.

The Good Work Leaves Evidence

We care about work where you can feel somebody made decisions.

A strange casting choice.

A specific cultural reference.

A color pushed slightly too far.

A soundtrack that changes the entire emotional temperature.

A product treated in a way the category would not normally allow.

That evidence matters.

It tells us the work did not simply arrive because the software was capable of producing it.

Somebody wanted this exact thing to exist.

Soon Everybody Gets The Tools

Access will continue getting easier.

Quality will continue improving.

Production will continue getting faster.

Good.

We are not interested in building a studio around having secret buttons.

The durable part is the ability to notice something, develop an idea around it, build a world with a point of view, and know when the work is finished.

The tools change.

The reason for making something should survive them.
